At my school there had been a debate topic about cultural appropriation.
Somethings like Native Indian clothing's, traditions or african dread locks…..so on…...
I want to hear from others what there view is on Henna and if that would be considered a cultural appropriation since in the US they are considered "tattoo's" for fashion at least that's the vibe I get off.
I know in the Hindu and some Muslim culture they are worn during marriage as a sign to show life long happiness.
Are Henna considered something sensitive and preserved in those cultures? Are they meant only for special events and not to walk around in on a day to day bases?
What your thoughts?
